In the quiet, green of Livadi in Astypalea, on private land of three acres, at a distance of 400 metres from the beach is situated the Tholos, a restored, traditional island cottage over 150 years old.
Formerly Tholos was the family home of the farmer of this property. Today it has been carefully restored with taste and respect to its individual architecture.
The owners have created a warm, friendly cottage which can accommodate from 1 to 4 people (ideal for a couple with 1-2 children).
It comprises a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed, kitchen, bathroom and sitting-room which can easily be converted into a sleeping room for 1-2 pers.. The décor is plainly traditional and will charm you. Its comfortable veranda and small garden have views of fresh green countryside.
This cottage is ideal for those wishing to escape from the noise of the city to the peace and tranquillity of the country.
Small household pets are welcome.

Tholos is fully equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, bath robes – slippers, and necessary kitchen ware that enable guests to make breakfast at “home”.
PRICES AND RESERVATIONS
Prices 2007: 90,00-120,00 euros

Arrival – Departure: 14:00 / 12:00 noon
• Arrival between 12:00 (midnight) – 12:00 (noon) is charged with an extra day (previous day)
• Departure between 12:00 (noon) and 18:00 (afternoon) is charged with ½ a day (next day)
• Departure after 18:00 (afternoon) is charged with an extra day (next day)
• One (1) day stays, in studios are accompanied by a surcharge of 20% over regular price.
Down payments & Reservations: in the case of reservations charged on credit card, the customer must provide a signed authorization enabling the hotel to charge his/her credit card and finalize the reservation.
All reservations must be accompanied by a down payment equal to 50% of the total cost of the scheduled reservation by credit card (the credit card is charged at the same time the reservation is made) or bank account deposit.
Cancellations made at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival are charged with fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the scheduled reservation (i.e. the down payment is non refundable).
In case of non show or departure prior to the scheduled departure date, the customer shall pay the full cost of the scheduled reservation.
Important: After depositing the down payment to the Bank, be sure to send us the deposit slip by fax or e-mail provided you have already noted your name and the dates of scheduled reservation.
• The reservation is only confirmed after written notification of the down payment (by fax or e-mail)
• Do not deposit down payments without our prior oral or written consent.
Down payment is fully refunded only when reservations are cancelled at least 21 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date.

In order to finalize a reservation, in cooperation with tourist agencies and organizations, in addition to the down payment deposit (50% of the scheduled reservation total cost), prepayment is also necessary of the total cost of the reservation at least ten (10) days prior to the guest’s arrival at the Tholos otherwise the reservation is automatically cancelled without further notification to the tourist agency nor refund of the down payment.
Upon departure of the guest from «Tholos» the relevant receipt shall be issued and sent to the tourist agency – associate. |
